Mike graduated from University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. After college, he moved to Augusta, Georgia working in corporate America until he decided to pursue a career in Financial Services. He began his career in 1996 representing the top insurance companies and is knowledgeable in comprehensive financial planning.
Mike is also dedicated to working with fans and listeners of the Dave Ramsey Show as a “Smartvestor Pro”*.
Mike has coordinated & led two “Financial Peace University” classes in 2007 and 2016. Mike & his family currently attend Mid-Way Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC.
Mike holds Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses, as well as being an Investment Advisor Representative with Osaic FS. Mike is a licensed Life, Health, Disability and Medicare Supplement agent.
Mike and his wife, Paula, have been married for 27 years. They have three children: Josh, Lauren and Brandon. Mike is also ‘poppa Mickey’ to three adorable grandchildren. Mike and his family live in Apex, NC where they enjoy outdoor activities and taking long cruises.
